Senior Quality Engineer

Reporting to the Quality Manager, this position is responsible to perform quality engineering functions for the Aerospace and Specialty Business Units including; preparation of initial samples and first articles for presentation to our customer, quality planning, interface with customers and champion quality improvements.

The ideal candidate will have; previous experience in a fast paced quality department and a solid understanding of quality principals and methodology, a technical degree in Quality, Engineering or a related curriculum, Quality Engineering certification through A.S.Q., minimum of 5 years experience in the aerospace quality field working with advanced quality systems including experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA and Control Plans. Having AS9100 as well as Six Sigma Black Belt knowledge and experience is desired.
