Quality Engineer – Aerospace 

Flexfab LLC, a growing global, lean manufacturer, ISO/TS16949 and AS 9100 certified supplier of flexible hose, ducting and connectors to the Aerospace, Heavy Duty Truck and Automotive Industries currently seeks a Quality Engineer at our Hastings, Michigan facility.

Working under general supervision the Quality Engineer utilizes engineering skills and methods to perform quality engineering functions for the Business Unit including, but not limited to: preparation of initial samples and first articles for presentation to our customer, Quality Planning, Corrective Action, interfacing with customers and championing quality improvement.  

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:   

Bachelor of Science degree in Quality, Engineering or related technical degree.  An understanding and experience in; AS9100 quality systems requirements, completing FAI’s per AS9102, corrective action methodology and reports (7S/8D), root cause analysis tools, non-conforming material handling, source inspection, customer interface/communication, drawing/specification interpretation, dimensional inspection.  Must have ability to lead and function well in a team environment. Membership in A.S.Q. is required.  Willing to travel.
