Lean Manufacturing Manager

Flexfab LLC, a growing global, lean manufacturer, ISO 14001, AS 9100 and TS16949 certified quality supplier of flexible   hose, ducting and connectors to Aerospace, Heavy Duty Truck and Automotive Industries currently seeks a Lean Manufacturing Manager at our Hastings, Michigan facility.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Lean Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for leading, coordinating and documenting Continuous Improvement activities and accomplishments using Lean (Kaizen) Manufacturing methodologies.  Working with the Operations team and Lean Analyst, the successful candidate will identify Lean opportunities through plant analysis , recommend lean objectives, conduct Kaizen events, track and report cost reductions, create and update current and future state plans, and identify training needs to support the attainment of defined goals.

Ideal Candidates will possess a Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent hands on experience as an innovative professional with proven skills developed through successful handling of increased responsibility. Individual must have the interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with people at all levels within the organization, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex activities. Individual will need strong analytical skills and must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access. Prefer minimum of 5 years experience in a Manufacturing setting.
